#04 - Are You Scared of a Course? Here's a Simple Way to Conquer That Fear
A lot of things trigger fears depending on the situation you find yourself in. As a student, the slightest fear of failing is enough to scare the daylights out of you.
As a matter of fact, everyone suffers from the fear of one thing or the other. Because fear is an innate quality which describes our human nature. So, we can’t run away from who we are. We can only embrace ourselves by seeking ways of exploring our latent qualities through embracing our fears as a means of attaining greater heights.
So how can you embrace your fears and make it work to your advantage?
To tell the truth, your fears have a tortoise-like effect on you. It slows you down by questioning your ability to perform excellently in your endeavours.
And inasmuch as you want to get A’s, you must deal with these fears by deliberately dealing with your subconscious mind. You can do that by becoming the ultimate master of your emotions.
Simply change your perception about fear—from a positive to a negative viewpoint. Perceive fear as a springboard to your desired destination in life . Think of fear as a drill which shapes your mind for a great cause. Through this, your fears can lift you to the peak of your dreams.
However, only a courageous mind can trawl through this process, tap into it and eventually reap its benefits.
In Nelson Mandela’s words, “courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”
By reading this article, it means you have taken the deliberate path to conquering that fear which is hindering you from acing that test. It shows you are interested in making that fear work to your advantage.
Nevertheless, I can't hammer and saw for you. You have to play your cards well. You must do your own homework. So don't expect magic to happen overnight, your desire to score good grades is your sole responsibility.
You must read well and prepare for your assessments on time because a good beginning makes a good end.
